a-wandering wednesday: coloma coffee plantation, colombia

oh boy, it's been a while since the last a-wandering wednesday (sorry, lisa k!), but life got busy...  anyway, today we're headed back to colombia, and the lovely coffee plantation, coloma!

we were the only visitors to the plantation on the day we went, and we walked through the entire process of coffee cultivation - from growing, to harvest, to fermentation, to drying, to roasting, and finally to consumption.  neither lisa nor i is a coffee connoisseur, and we failed our taste test miserably - but we both loved the coffee liqueur the plantation makes, which was like liquid, alcoholic coffee ice cream.  yum!
