engaged: robyn and surya's surprise proposal at american ice company

a few weeks ago, surya contacted me because he was planning on proposing to his girlfriend and wanted to capture the entire thing.  the plan was for surya to propose at the american ice company, an awesome restaurant and bar in washington, dc, and the place where surya and robyn met!

the bar staff helped arrange the whole event, opening a little early so that they would have the place to themselves, and helping to create a cover story for why surya and robyn needed to drop by a bar at 4 pm on a weekday...surya put together a beautiful photo album documenting their relationship and the two of them looked through the book while seated at the very table where they first met.   at the end of the book, surya got down on one knee and popped the question!   of course, robyn said yes!
