a-wandering wednesday: tolu, colombia

once out of the city, we headed to the tiniest little beach town on the caribbean coast of colombia called tolu.  tolu is a primarily local beach destination, so it was much quieter than either bogota or cartagena, and we may have been the only tourists in town!

this colorful town is located on an island off the coast of colombia - santa cruz de islote - and has the distinction of being the most densely populated island in the world!
