Summer Wedding at Meridian House in Washington DC | Sarah & Jay
Sarah and Jay just celebrated their first anniversary, which got me reminiscing about how beautiful their wedding day was last year. We started the day off at the Rosewood Hotel in Georgetown, where Sarah and her girls got prepped for the day. Sarah’s mom collected this beautiful antique dish to hold her jewelry, and their invitation suite was the perfectly elegant and classic way to set the stage for the rest of their celebration.
After the first look along the Georgetown canal, we headed to Christ Church Georgetown for the wedding ceremony before heading heading off to one of my favorite DC venues, Meridian House, which Holly Chapple beautifully decorated with gorgeous neutral arrangements and place settings accented with olive branches.
My absolute favorite part of this gorgeous wedding was the moment that Sarah and Jay planned at the end of the evening for the two of them to have a private dance in the linden grove to their favorite song. It was such a special way to mark the end of a day full of beginnings and joy and bring the focus back to the two of them!
