Intimate Winter Elopement at Meridian House in Washington DC | Leah & Justin (Sneak Peek)

newly married couple reflected in the mirrors of Meridian House after their elopement photographed by Washington DC luxury fine art film wedding photographer Lissa Ryan Photography

When COVID forced the postponement of their destination wedding, L & J pivoted and decided to plan an intimate and emotional, self-officiated elopement ceremony at Meridian House on their 10 year anniversary. They toasted via Facetime with their families after the ceremony, and shared a private waltz to live cello music in the ballroom of Meridian House. While it wasn’t what they had originally planned, it was a perfectly romantic and beautiful way to pledge forever to each other.
