a-wandering wednesday: hello, laos!
after several weeks of constant motion, laos was exactly what we needed! our first experience with laos involved a sunrise border crossing, two incredibly relaxing days on a longboat floating down the mekong river, an overnight in a sleepy riverside town where we were awoken in the morning by elephants bathing on the riverbank below, and a visit to a strange riverside cave filled with thousands of buddha statues.
