a-wandering wednesday: vientiane, laos
phew, i'm back! sorry for the hiatus in the a-wandering wednesdays, i was off collecting more adventures to feature here (up next after south-east asia - the beautiful and passionate colombia!).
but anyway, back to the lovely city of vientiane! like many of the cities in laos, there's a strong french influence in vientiane - which is apparent in the architecture and the many delicious bakeries and pastry shops throughout town. we were in heaven! it was the perfect place to relax for a day and enjoy our last glimpse of laos before heading to cambodia.
one of the things i miss most about asia is the daily fresh fruit shake - they are the stuff that dreams are made of...
catch up on the previous stops in our trip here: batangas, palawan, boracay, bangkok, chiang mai, the white temple, our first couple days in laos, luang prabang, the road to vang vieng, and vang vieng.
